Every game there is someone hard core lagging or just not taking damage. Please fix the matchmaking for ps5 consoles.
Edit: This has 25 upvotes but only showing 19. Why are people downvoting a request to make the matchmaking a better experience? People just wanna watch the world burn.

2 RepliesDownvoted for owning a ps5.

3 RepliesThat sounds like a wifi issue....

24 RepliesI noticed this as soon as the next gen update was implemented. The player pool became so small I started knowing everyone by name. Still encounter many of the same people months later.

The problem is that it's PS5. 😤
XboxLivesMatter
Console availability is a big part of that, also some people that played D2 on PS4, dropped this game completely on PS5.

13 RepliesThe problem is that ps5 players are matched only against other ps5 players unless there is also a ps4 player in your party. The goal is to not match people with worse hardware against people with better hardware unnecessary (even though it happens all the time on pc). The problem is that ps5s are still so hard to come by that the player pool is impossibly small. So you play people from far away areas with bad connections- and the overall skill floor is way higher because people who take gaming more seriously are the ones more likely to have gotten a ps5. The fix is easy: put ps4 and ps5 into the same matchmaking pool 100% of the time. Unfortunately there's no word of that happening anytime soon.

It'll get better the more time passes. Ps5/series x players have a pretty huge advantage (up to 120hz, fov sliders, etc), and the lobbies being this way is *semi* necessary, the main issue is more the fact that there isnt enough next gen consoles in the wild right now so you get paired up against more outlier type players then you normally would. But I dont expect them to open the floodgates for a year and make matchmaking pools all the same and close them a year later. If you want an easy fix, get a friend that plays on last gen.

That's just this game across the board in general.

1 ReplyWhat do you think about PS4 lobbies? PvP is unplayable and it's probably because of PS5's.

Pc gamer first time? Poor hardware vs expensive hardware Shit mouse and keyboard vs e sport M+K 60hz screen vs 120Hz or more screen

2 RepliesIt’s just next gen lobbies right now, population is too low. Need to queue Witt someone on old gen so you get old gen playerbase is what I hear works best. 🤷🏼♂️ But gotta love shooting someone repeatedly, seeing them die and about 15 secs later the game registers it on the score and kill feed. And it’s only ever against that one player in a match... 🤮

8 RepliesI'm on PS5 and the only thing I notice is every match is a hardcore sweat fest , especially Iron Banner
-
30 RepliesNext gen has its own matchmaking pool, if you are solo next gen or play in a fireteam where everybody is next gen then thats the matchmaking pool you are in. Next gen pool is small so network quality wont be all that good. Solution (until crossplay is implemented): -Invite at least 1 last gen player to avoid next gen only matchmaking OR -Play the last gen version of D2 so matchmaking will classify you as a last gen player

1 ReplyJust get better wifi
-
Same for Series X/S, it is almost a must have to have 1 old gen on team if you want a balanced card lol. NEXT gen mm is still doable but more mentally taxing and tiring.
that's cuz its play station
7 RepliesYes , sadly also cheating.

I wonder if that's just the way its going to be until more people get a PS5. Because if it is then there's no reason to sweat these ridiculous twitter alerts.
