Many months later: SUPRISE IT'S WORSE THAN YOU THOUGHT. Can anyone even name an "MMO" that actually monetizes such a thing? This isn't even buying something new, but changing the look of a thing to another. The idea was a joke back then, and it's still now. And if I remember right, the 'free' process is a literal grind for a single item? 2 a week? Oh it's apparently a 3 stage material grind for no sensible reason whatsoever. Like come on Bungie, would you even want to deal with this in your own time? I find it very unlikely. It's also worth noting the seeming abandonment on the Solstice Glows. It's understandable that a hurdle was reached in regards to them. However, simply choosing to turn away from said hurdle is ridiculous. People spent money on these things, TWICE. Could have at least had the benefit of the doubt on your side with that if you were still going to try, even if they wouldn't be available immediately. If it were truly impossible, I'm only left to wonder how such an impossible hurdle was even created.
