Transmog is already terrible and it has not even been implemented yet! Bungie is just making the system super tedious so that players will spend hours just to earn enough materials to transmog [b]ONE[/b] item and make their gameplay numbers look good. On the bright side, you can skip over the tedious steps required to transmog a single item by just buying the final material needed for Silver. Players have been asking for a transmog system since D1 and while Bungie usually gives the players what they want, they always go about it in the worst way possible. This is by far the worst transmog system in history. Games like Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla have a transmog system that only costs the in-game currency, and no side quest that takes a few hours to complete. [b]TAKE NOTES![/b] EDIT: I am aware that sunsetting is going away next season so I do not have to grind to earn the perfect roll on armor. However, I would much rather grind activities that can offer [b]MULTIPLE[/b] armor and weapon drops than have to grind for a material just to transmog [b]ONE[/b] single armor piece.
