NO CAP on Transmog. That's it. That's the solution.
I don't care about the grind being convoluted or shaders costing more bright dust or the fact that you can buy transmog via EV to skip the grind. Just eliminate the cap on transmog and the biggest issue is solved.

Thats not the solution, you guys don’t need more than 6 ornaments max for each character. The grind is the real problem, bungie purposely made the grind tedious so players would give up on grinding and spend money instead to get it instantly. The cap? I don’t know about you but I honestly only like about 7 armor pieces in the game I actually find cool and I don’t use every single one. The cap goes up to 20 the season after so this is really nothing to be crying about, I feel 10 slots is more than generous to be honest.

1 ReplyExactly how many pieces of armor do you intend to make into ornaments? People are constantly complaining how ugly the Destiny 2 armor is, yet they are upset that they can't turn the ugly armor into ornament without limits?

If they exclude exotic armor pieces, we CANNOT create custom looks. We are 100% stuck with building looks around exotic armor pieces. What's different? Hardly anything. All this effort to make a system seems pointless. Want an angular look on your hunter but need to use Omnioculus? Too bad. Want a beefy warlock look but need to use transverse steps? Too bad. In short, the transmog system set up by bungie offers nothing but a grind for an incomplete look. It isn't even worth the effort. This exotic restriction alone took the wind out my sails. The grind and potential cost to even bother sunk the ship entirely... And it hasn't even set sail. They have a chance to reconsider, I guess. What a disappointing result though.

19 RepliesLets put it this way. 1. You have your perfect armor that you grinded for. Since sunsetting is no more, you are good on armor forever. 2. If theres no cap, you can transmog every and any piece you want. Congrats, you destroyed half the grind in the game, and any value on armor that isnt cosmetical.
