It's interesting reading all these posts blaming stasis when in reality it is Bungie that is the actual problem knowing they don't have any professional PvP players that play the game. They need actual testers that know what they are doing to see how things actually work in the game. It's not brian sugary people...
Anyone intelligent enough can see Stasis was a selling point and was a bad move on Bungie's part when it comes to PvP, knowing you can still promote power without it being OP. It was used to sell BL.
IMO Bungie doesn't have the slightest idea of what they are doing when it comes to PvP. Maybe if they actually played their own game to see how things work instead of just looking at what sells, things would't be as bad.

They hired a guy from BSK as a playtester a couple of years ago and he, along with several others, left after like 2 weeks because they were astounded by how little the devs knew about their own game and because it seemed like they cared more about bringing in casual players than making Crucible fun and balanced.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CruciblePlaybook/comments/flzdeo/comment/fl2o64p?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=&utm_content=more_replies Just a few Reddit comments about it. I know there’s at least one other thread that mentions why he left, but I can’t find it now. It isn’t a widely-known thing, as most people have no idea that he even left because he stopped streaming entirely because of it. Someone found his DTR and it looks like he still plays as a regular player, but he’s no longer a community figure.

yea he still plays. I’ve played with him a few times.

Like as a blueberry or in a fireteam?

Did you notice how the post was locked in a heartbeat? 😄

No I didn’t lol, Bungie does have a lot of power over the narrative though.

Edited by TheShadow: 4/18/2021 5:52:04 PMSeeing how they have handled this game it's most likely the truth. Basically, what I'm getting out of all this is that they are the type of company that fakes it until they make it but they have to come up with excuses to explain why they don't know what they are doing. "It's the games falt" is all I've been hearing from this company for the last 4 years. When does taking responsibility for your own actions kick in?
