Dead Spartans in Lone wolf...wait, what?
Looking round lone wolf in theatre, can't help but notice the corpses of spartans (As well as the marines...). Total number's around 13.
Any idea's why they're there? doesn't seem to make much sense.

If you have the legendary game, and got Dr's note book, she talks about her Spartan 2 program and that ONI has been watchinbg her & stole alot of her notes and research. ONI created Spartan 3 program, which are cheaper & faster (produced) Spartans. In one cut scene Jorge (a Spartan 2) refers to the Dr as "Mother" and the other Spartan (3s) do not, they even show a lack of respect and recognition towards her... In novels & other fluff there are several hundered total Spartan 2s & 3s in the universe... [Edited on 10.22.2010 8:56 AM PDT]

ugh... overacheiver! the other spartan bases are in billions of pieces at this point. reach is the last plant before earth is attacked. wich means that only reach's spartans remain. and we never hear from the so called survivors agian so let stick with the only master chief remains idea. any one who has read ALL the books and played ALL the games including halo wars knows that chief is the last spartan. case closed.

[/quote] you oviously need to read more they arenot all dead if youve read first strike and the ghosts of onyx you would find that linda was brought bak to life and some spartans survived reach plus there were around 900 spartan iii made on a planet called onyx

Implying Noble Team are the only Spartan - III's around. Remember at the end of that massive falcon level where Kat asks Carter about Spartans being put on defensive deployments? One difference between Spartan 2's (Master-C, Jorge) and Spartan 3's (The rest of noble team, those dead bodys you see on lone wolf) is that there are a LOT more spartan 3's

From what I recall hearing, there were a bunch of Spartans on Reach; not just Noble Team. However, in-game you only ever encounter your team.
