Should've nerfed the meta before iron banner
Hand cannons and shotguns should have been nerfed before iron banner. Nothing is worse being killed by a HC from scout range
And the felwinter crutch is infuriating.

The easy counter to shotgun apes is the last word. You can basically get it for free in the kiosk. It perfectly fills the gap between shotgun and 120 range with a high rate of fire and the shots are sticky on console If you get enough last word kills in a match it will force the shotgunners to play at a more respectable range

1 ReplyThey will never get nerfed. Since Destiny won they have always been the matter why ? Because they don't take much to kill and are a literal crutch for unskilled people. when it comes to PvP it's like you might as well delete 95% of all weapons because there are only two in PvP

Agreed, It’s not fun and not worth the frustration. Everyone on here disagreeing are the ones spamming HCs and Felwinters Lie and they know it.

Yeah this iron banner has been torture. Was matched up against people with 73 percent win ratios and 533x flawless. I think I'd rather sit on a Saguaro cactus than play any more banner this week

2 RepliesIt's not going to be different after. You're talking just ~3m less 120s, with a full range without drop-off of 40m. It'll beat scouts again. Shotguns got zero nerfs in range or damage, just QD. Players will just use different perks and different exotics. HC and OHK Shotgun with ability spamming = Crucible. No change. Oh but they nerfed the only exception to that in the top ten: Fusions, again, and an exotic. Go balance team!

1 ReplyHand cannons should never outgun a scout at range. But on the flip side, there are so many mod/perk combos to keep up with its no wonder any given achetype is o.p. for any given time.

4 less meters won't knock hand canons down. They'll still be in scout rifle range. And nerfing Quickdraw is pointless because people never unequip their shotguns anyway.

There isn't really a meta these days, most weapons are viable. Shotguns do their job, if you are continually dying to people using shotguns then the problem is your placement and awareness.
