If you’re playing just for bright dust then I don’t think you’re getting much out of the game whether you got 4000 or 400,000..
-
1 ReplyNow add all the other bright dust you got along the way as well. They gave it away like candy this season. Yes. Thank you bungie.
-
I think the overall total bright dust was better if you play one character, but significantly less if you play multiple characters. Most of the bright dust challenges were Bungie trolling trying to get people to play more and populate areas people don't want to play. It wasn't perfect, but it was nice to have weekly stuff to do. I think the stuff like resetting your valor and infamy rank should have started at the beginning of the season or have been retroactive.

4 RepliesLoL there are too many posts complaining about the same thing. Did you not notice the 100-300 bright dust you got for the majority of the individual challenges? Only the ones involving the War Table did not reward bright dust, I believe. With the 4K and 75 challenges worth probably another 5K, you did a lot better than you should be crying about. I swear, people won't be happy unless they can buy every single cosmetic in Eververse for bright dust!

It's funny how in 18 hours you have no upvotes yet, it's clear that most people see that as an adequate reward for the level of challenge.

9 RepliesHow much are armor sets? They were 6k a piece if I remember correctly. You get 10k total from Seasonal challenges from the information I have read. Correct me if I’m wrong. The source I used is here:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thegamer.com/destiny-2-bright-dust-farm-guide/amp/
Now. If you have completed all 75 required challenges, I would assume you leveled up your Season Pass to at least Level 100. You add in the 7500 from the free path of the Season pass and you get 17,500. Three full armor sets would cost 18,000. If you’ve been leveling up, then you can get the remaining 500 easily from doing your weekly 8 bounties for either Zavala, Drifter, or Shaxx. Now, let’s say you paid the $10 for the Season Pass. That’s an extra 3,000. Total: 20,500 You got to look at the bigger picture here.

1 ReplyI’m so glad I stopped playing this game. I had done every challenge up until last week and then said I’m done. 4000BD for all that grinding. Did you have fun completing the 75 seasonal challenges? If you said yes , you’re lying.
-
the total of bd is 10k for all challanges, and you know the reward from the start so why cry? attention post eh?
-
Yes lets ignore all the bright dust you gained getting to that point.
-
There's 6k dust in the free to play challenges. 4k for completing 75/77 challenges. 10k for finishing the pass at level 100. If you do the bounty challenge for shaxx, zavala, and drifter, that's another 4k per character if you finish it every week. And infinite dust from repeat bounties if you really wanna grind. 😤
-
It's a bonus 4k dust for just playing the game, what exactly were you expecting?
-
The challenges were easy. Why are you complaining? Easy 4k Bright Dust.
-
They said at the Start of the Season in a TWAB at how much you'd get.
-
Idk how people would have thought they'd get any more bright dust than that, this is bungie.
-
4000 isn't the total amount though. You gained bright dust by doing those challenges.
-
Are forgetting all the quests you completed to earn 75 completed. They gave some dust. I mean it’s called dust for a reason.
-
That's quite stingy. Not even enough to buy an armor set I think (some events in the past had sets for 6000 I think. Bright dust was easier to come by in those days though if you did the weekly bounties)
