Can you give the Gunsmith the ability to change masterworks?
There is nothing so demoralizing as grinding your butt off for a Bottom Dollar or Messenger or whatever, then getting that perfect roll but it has a reload mw.

1 ReplyYou get perfect rolls? I’ve done at least 25 grandmaster and gone flawless 7 times this season and every reward has 1 or 2 good perks if I’m lucky and the others will be bad. Bungie is really making the grind become worthless at this point.

If drop rates weren't abysmal I would disagree. But if they continue to do awful drop rates then yes we need re roll capability. If they buff drop rates then no.

4 RepliesTen golf balls. That resets the weapon to the attribute you want. Then, you must re-masterwork it yourself at double the normal cost. This is the price you pay...for the life you choose.

Bungie obviously did that because a +20 or more would actually make a difference in combination with perks....well, but there is PvP. So they kept it low. Therefore, not a huge thing to look out for. If a weapon already has shitty reload, the +10 won't help here either. If a gun already has nearly max range, like Bottom Dollar (especially with perks like Rangefinder erc) the + 10 are not really noticeable and so on. A +10 on Blast Radius on a Rocket Launcher or Grenade launcher, for example, is also not noticeable cauz I highly doubt every player counted the pixels of which the radius increased, after masterworking. It might have an effect but it's so situational that it mostly doesn't matter or you absolutely need to be aware of when the +10 actually makes a difference. And in a combat scenario you have other things to look out for. The perks are the most imortant thing on any gun. No need to "grind your ass off" if you already have a nice rolled Bottom Dollar.

It’s just awesome.

Usually does not matter that much if rest of the perks are align, but would be nice if it were customizable since some like range other reload etc. And with some guns getting all the perks to align is 1 in a 30k just to get masterwork not supporting it fully. Example quickdraw + snapshot with handling masterwork is meh.

Also, there should be a way to alter your stats on armor a bit. Like remove an unwanted stat and add it to another stat. Like removing discipline and adding to strength, etc. MW only gives 2 points, they could also allow you to feed currency into a set and raise it more. I doubt any of this will happen. How many years did it take to straighten out shaders?

Never gonna happen unless the price was steep. Like you need to have another Bottom Dollar that has a range masterwork in order to pull it out of that one and put it on the roll you want.

If his dumbass can't even figure that out what makes you think he could actually modify anything else? On a serious note, also no, because that would make him an actual "gunsmith" and there would be a real reason to call him a "gunsmith" and then I'd have a reason to stand in front of him and spend my 55k gunsmith materials.
