So I had a conversation with a fellow guardian today. Former-guardian I should say. We discussed what about the game made them turn it away despite growing up with it.
"I logged in for about 20 minutes (for the first time in the year), and despite putting hours of time into the game prior, I was the same power as a guardian that just got the game. I didn't have anything to suggest I'm the player that put in 1000 hours compared to the player that put in 25 minutes. My time didn't feel respected"
We bounced a few Ideas back and forth with that being the core issue rooted, and through a few minutes of discussion, we came to a potential solution that would both not break the game from my (being an active player that's relatively up-to-date) perspective, compared to his ever-distancing third party view.
So here's the suggestion: what if battle pass level, as in, the number, didn't reset each season.

This solution proposes to show the players who put in the hours and a spot of pride for those who have no life (I'm only half-joking).
Would really appreciate it if this could be passed back to the team at bungie.
