2 RepliesThis is kind of one of those like resetting the artifact. Like yes, I'm normally capped on glimmer, but at the same time what even is the point in charging for these things? Shouldn't the purpose of a currency be to buy things?
-
It's only 500 glimmer... Run some glimmer mods on your ghost and pop a rainmaker. Not that hard to keep yourself topped up at glimmer cap.

2 RepliesHey man, Use DIM, create a load out with specific mods for specific armor pieces. That's what i do, i have about 4 or 5 loadouts with different weapons and armor with mods for specific gameplay. DIM is a very powerful tool that most fools only use it for transferring weapons from character to character, most people have no freaking idea all of the features DIM has. I suggest you take your time and learn, you will love it!
-
It's annoying sometimes having to make a trip to spider to top up.
-
I'd rather be able to use my 10 stacks of mod components to change my mods honestly. Free would be cool but doesn't solve the mod component issue.

5 RepliesEdited by Bissus: 4/13/2021 5:48:13 PMI don't even notice the glimmer costs when changing mods. I'm always on cap glimmer and I play the game very casually. Edit: Well, I changed my mind. Thanks for the examples to those who replied.

2 RepliesImagine having less than 200k glimmer at any given time 😏
-
5 RepliesOr just get rid of the glimmer cap would honestly be my preference

In a perfect world of destiny the scope, grip, barrel, and what have you would add extra in steadying aim and all the crap. In other modding the weapon would effect the gun. Then there would be five or six slots that you could just add weapon mods to give extra to the stats with zero negative effects. Yea it would make most weapons overpowered and even to the fact of doing the same with armor and armor mods. But it would make playing the game a bit more fun but make it a hassle for bungie to balance since they are lazy anyways. So it boils back down to the developer being lazy. Yea I know simply agreeing would be something I can’t do at this point because not paying for having to change a weapon or armor mod out is way down on the priority list of things that need to be fixed for destiny.

2 RepliesIt’s an easy way to maintain a small level of grind, which is what this game is all about. It’s annoying but it’s never going away. The alternative is using mods themselves as the “cost” which means you’d have to purchase or grind for more of the same mod, which is way worse.

The replies on this post as funny as hell.
-
1 ReplyEven more than that I want to unlock all mods on the seasonal artifact.
-
2 RepliesUpvote to overhaul the entire in-game economy.
-
A minor problem buuuuuuuut one I can agree with.
-
7 RepliesSeems ridiculous huh? Wait until you have to pay taxes!
-
I would settle for load out saves.
-
The whole mod system needs an overhaul. It clunky and cumbersome to change builds unless you have an entire, discrete set of armor for every one.
-
1 ReplyWould be cool if a.) we could switch them and b.) if it didn't take 10 seconds to hold down the button every time. It was a colossal time sink to collect all of these, no idea why there's yet another time and resource sink to actually use them.
-
500 Glimmer!?!?!?! Oh the humanity...
-
I legit spend 5-10k a day. More during IB weeks to change mods for PVP
-
1 ReplyThis is one thing that stops me from playing. It’s exhausting season after season. Another thing is you cannot save builds.
-
I agree 💯
-
2 RepliesI dont mind the 500 glimmer cost. I’m just annoyed that we still cant save loadouts properly. DIM can save loadouts but it cant save the mods.
-
2 RepliesThe bigger problem is the artifact reset cost. All mods should be unlockable at the same time without the resetting nonsense.

Keep this train rolling guys and gals! I want to know your opinions on this!
