With a limit of 50 and we can’t store them in our vault, you made it even better where now we can’t reset valor with Shax if our prisms are full ... so now the only way is to delete prisms to reset my valor? please Bungie a fix to this would be huge

2 RepliesIt’s pathetic seeing the replies defending this horrible, anti-player decision to put shitty low caps on materials in order to annoy customers & artificially extend the grind by having players lose gear and materials if they don’t spend them when they don’t want. I’m glad this dirty tactic backfired on them as it disincentivised grinding after reaching the low cap.

1 ReplyHow are you guys always maxed out on stuff? Im always broke! I enjoy making pvp builds so thats probably why I’m always broke but still.

Edited by RichGhost77: 4/12/2021 4:11:09 PMIf you don't have any use for them, then you absolutely do not need more than 50 prisms and 10 golf balls... They are reasonably easy to acquire so if you did happen to need to top them up, then you can do so by playing the game. Spend the excess materials on upgrading random gear, then store that gear in your fault. It will break down into less than you spent, but still worth it.

This seems a bit insane to me. Like if you have that many just use them or turn them into shards at banshee. I would understand if the argument was that things are so cost prohibitive that you burn through the whole supply before completing whatever masterwork project you're working on but that's clearly not the case. I would argue that there should be a reverse option at banshee so you can take a shard and turn it into like 5 prisms and a prism into 5 cores or something to that extent. It doesn't need to be the full amount, but when I'm sitting on prisms that are used way less but are more rare but have like 3 cores that are used far more often, I should be able to convert backward. That may even help with your particular problem.

OP: Increase Prism capacity (I'm guessing because you think 50 is not enough) Also OP: I find myself deleting Prisms constantly (presumably because you have more Prisms than you need) This is logic.

I agree with the limit issue. However you can convert them into enhancement cores. Go to collection, grab a blue gear, upgrade it to 8, dismantle it. It costs a bit of shards and glimmer, but I think it’s still better than deleting prisms. Next time there are masks available at Eva, you can do the same for an even cheaper cost.

1 ReplyTrade them with Banshee for golfballs?

Spend them.

Edited by Swiftlock: 4/11/2021 9:23:29 PMI agree that item limits suck, but the reason you can't store so many is because you're supposed to USE them. It would hurt player population in activities moving into new seasons/expansions if you never had to worry about farming resources. It's not a perfect solution, but you can simply masterwork spare exotic armor you have laying around, then dismantle it later to get a golf ball and some prisms. I did this when Lake of Shadows had double rewards and I STILL have tons of resources from that week alone.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 4/11/2021 9:33:00 PMLol, so use them? There is a reason why it's only 50, so we can't stock up unlimited piles of it. It makes our choices more meaningful if materials are limited. It's a basic mechanic they've used for 6+ years.

2 RepliesWhat do you need more than 50 for? Upgrading your whole vault?
