The racing was fun and surprisingly skillful, the cosmetics were amazing (man, I loved that hunter helmet), and Timebreaker blew everyone out of the water in the home stretch. That mode was excellent. One-of-a-kind.

1 ReplyIt’s actually a really good idea to bring it back on Bungie’s end. Little over half the community wants it back and with the amount of cosmetics they can sell they would make bank off it.

2 RepliesBro, ignore all these people who are being negative. Those like you are the people that like variety in games. It means you're not boring dude. Everybody wants the same old stuff for crucible, but those who strive for something different are the ones who know what real fun is. Sparrow league had some flaws but it was also a pretty fun mode. I do think bungie needs to bring back SRL, along with other things as well. This would definitely make the game more interesting. The game rn is definitely not doing fine rn, an it needs a variety of things to do to liven it up.

Next season we will see the first 2 new weapons for Iron Banner since Forsaken. 2. If it's not obvious by now, they either cant, or wont provide much support for their flagship game going forward. If they do SRL, we probably wouldn't get anything new outside of Eververse until D3 in 2027.

2 RepliesSRL was a 3-week event. Many gamers found that period too long to sustain their interest. If SRL was to return, it would have to be a 1-week event. Bungie won't dedicate resources for something such short term, and it is unlikely that many gamers want SRL as a recurring event like Iron Banner. Unfortunately, this means SRL will remain part of Destiny history.
