So I learned recently that Bungie held a "gathering" with Destiny 2 content creators in order to ask them for opinion in regards the game and it's future.
While I do believe some of them have good ideas, I am not sure these are the right people for Bungie to ask opinions in regards to the future of the game, even more so since most of them seem to focus mostly on one aspect or the other of the game (though most times that aspect being PVP/Trials).
Considering that these are people that actively make money out of Destiny 2, I have to believe that most opinions and suggestions they will provide will ultimately be biased towards their interests. One of the few exceptions I've seen of this is Aztecross, and while there are some suggestions I do agree with, he tends to have a good pulse on what the community is after.
I do believe Bungie should ask the player base in general what we are wanting from the game, as they would get a far more realistic and grounded opinion, even if a bit all over the place.
In any case, just my two cents on the matter.

3 RepliesThe people who are ruining the game are the people who only play when a major release comes out, the season after, and people who constantly complain about things in the game. I believe content creators should be the people who are asked about the game. They have the most hours. But honestly, I've gotten an email about PvP before. I know Bungie randomly emails other people too. So whether it's a "summit" or an email, they do try to ask everybody.
