I am as frustrated as you and I found myself constantly looking here for any help from Bungie in vain. It got so much worse after the last update. The stuttering in the Crucible made it unplayable. I have a 6900xt , Ryzen 7 3800x, 32 gb ram and I was getting laughable performance. I came across a post that changed things for me....at least brought it back to playable. Long story short....try a program called Project Lasso. it allows you to manipulate processor allocations on a per app basis. The main thing you want to do is turn off SMT and set the cpu priority to High for the Destiny 2 process. I also set the AMD high-performance power plan. Read that link....it worked for me. BTW - Full disclosure, I did roll back my drivers to 21.3.1.

i regret buying anything related with this lazy developers, i prefer buy cyberpunk than this shit, i will not buy a nvidia GPU, only because of the really bad optimization with radeon GPU, they quit all the expansions that people pay for, and they never put vulkan on this game, so do what i, turn the page and move on, there is COD MW BFV games that really have more graphics power, and use better RADEON GPU, now there is a game called outriders that will be a blast when they put PVP. or THE DIVISION 2, warframe a lot of games more. I am sad because when i have the 1070 this game never go down of 90fps but with the 5700 XT this shit never stay on 100 FPS COME ON TODAY I DOWNLOAD THE GAME LIKE THE 3 TIME ONLY TO TEST THE FPS AND NOTHING 60GB 1 test. nessus 1st mission that put u with the new plot, and 65fps all on ultra with 1080P i have 144hz monitor i will never tolerate a game than looks worse than others that i can play on stable 120-144 fps (gears 5, R6S, PUBG, BFV, COD MW) if they put the work on things that really matter for us pc gamers that is optimization i will open my wallet again and enjoy a very good game to play with friends
