I was very glad to see that you guys are putting a stop to future sunsetting, but unfortunately a lot of damage has already been done. Please eventually un-sunset all weapons in D2, especially the Y1 guns, which are some of my favorite weapons in the game.

We still bear sunsetting scars, i don't understand why weapons like Rose or Perfect Paradox can be sunset. Only Mountain Top, Recluse, Revoker and Felwinter's lie should be sunset.
-
i would like trust and blast furnace back.
-
Not the pinnacles. Ritual weapons maybe, but Mountaintop, Not Forgotten, Revoker, and Recluse should all stay at the bottom of the abyss where they belong.
-
Then the people who dismantled their old gear will riot, and further salt will commence. Also Mountaintop. Mountaintop can f••k off.
-
No. Absolutely not
-
1 Replygood luck with that
-
It will never happen

Unique/exclusive weapons should absolutely be unSunset. Legendaries from Exotic quests are now impossible to obtain form any source and were 100% exclusive to that quest, Nightfall exclusives are the same exact way, and considering the absolutely braindead drop rates that were implemented despite being Nightfall and not simply Strike exclusive there's arguably even more time needed to put into them than even things like raids, which also got the same treatment for some reason.

Even though I worked hard for mountain top and other pinnacles. I'd like them to stay sunsrtted. The meta would be boring and lead to more nerfs. But id be fine with guns like python, Randy's and future rituals to be a thing. And maybe bump saint 14 guns to the current season light level so we can earn them again. I had a really nice scout roll with explosive payload, I deleted it due to it being sunsetted.

1 ReplyEdited by THA_3rd_GUY: 3/28/2021 3:14:29 PMNo. The biggest reason for Sunsetting was that Ritual and Pinnacle weapons, like Recluse and Loaded Question, were so powerful that nothing else in the game could compete with them. And since Bungie was too afraid to just remove them from the game, since that would enrage the players who spent so long getting those weapons, they put a Power cap on them. And rather than just Sunset those weapons, Bungie decided to Sunset everything from that time to try and justify their actions. And you know that if Bungie just lets everything be brought up to max Power, then people who deleted stuff that got Sunset are going to riot.

No thanks. I’d like to not go back to old weapons for no reason.
-
Nah. Revoker can stay dead. That single weapon is my biggest hard stop when unsunsetting everything.
-
No mountaintop or revoker, everything else yeah
-
Maybe unsunset all shadowkeep season weapon, i know that recluse and mountaintop was annoying for bungie but randy and pitons where really good ritual weapon and doesn't have any broken perks
-
3 RepliesNo, just no. If it’s been sunset it should be gone for good period, Bring back reissued weapons with updated perk pools and people would be happy. Most of the stuff sunset aren’t that great and much have either, Some armor might’ve been good but armor can easily be replaced as there’s no sunsetting from now on. Except a few outliners like Breachlight everything gone isn’t really missed and future weapons are generally better
-
2 RepliesAnd bring maintaintop back? I’m good
-
I just want the pinnacles back that I as a casual player that only has time to randomly play, grinded my ass off for
-
Na just bring in d1 stuff or toss reissued to us from d2y1

-
7 RepliesIt’s too late for that. Everyone has dismantled almost all sunset gear

Edited by michael: 3/27/2021 9:27:03 PMThey should roll out refurbished old weapons every couple seasons, with new perk possibilities, and when they do they should unsunset the ones that people already have. example= Bring back spare rations as a world drop, replace some old perks with new ones like one for all, and unsunset any old spare rations that people had from before.
