Are the Adept weapon drop rates fair in GrandMaster Ordeal?
Last week my team and I ran 5 Devils Lair GrandMaster Nightfalls and I got 3 Swarm Adept but after 5 GrandMaster Arms Dealer completions I only got 1 Adept Shadow Price.
3 adept from 5 GM is fair but 1 Adept from 5 GM is not.
Am I wrong?
EDIT: I got the Shadow Price Adept on my 5th run and get one for all and surplus... oof, no Dragonfly for unlucky guy.
EDIT 2: Ran 6 more and got 5 Adept Shadow Price which puts me at 6 out of 11. Not too bad, I just had an unlucky streak when I made the post

1 ReplyWhat are you struggling with? Typical arms dealers should take around 24 minutes while devils around 30. If you’re playing with a bunch of hunters that don’t play safe I understand but we have a plethora of options to make gms so easy. Titans with ursa, warlock with the new stasis turret, izanagi with anti barrier is literally S tier and divinity. There are many more options to make gms such an easy activity. At that point if you’re failing it, it has to be on you or your team as communicating is key.

2 RepliesI think it's more than fair compared to trials, and now with the power level changes next season even more people can have easier access to gm's, trials is still a place where most people can't win let alone flawless with the amount of carries and sweats, and in the case of pc cheaters with some rare cases on console, not saying put adept weapons in the 3 win but maybe an extra option to get one each weekend

I think so. I’ve done maybe 15 since they released and I’ve gotten an adept I’d say 12/15 runs.

Farming Adept Weapon Rolls isn’t any different from normal Weapon’s Rolls and even though getting One For All in a Adept PvE Weapons is nice, getting stuff like Thresh or Bottomless Grief after spending time in your GM runs is not nice. Only problem i see for Adept Weapon runs is finding ways to do a Efficient Farm without Friends because honestly, LFG is pretty trash for GM.

Guaranteed adept from the Lighthouse chest. Both activities are considered endgame. The rewards should be guaranteed in GM after killing the boss. The adept mods should continue to be random.

6 RepliesMy guess is that you just got unlucky, my experience and that of others has it at about a 50% drop rate. Although to be fair, Arms Dealer is super quick and easy.

1 ReplyI wouldn’t actually say dragonfly is the best perk on adept weapons. The reason is simply that dragonfly pretty much requires the weapon to run dragonfly speck to be good. This means that you can’t run adept mods on the weapon instead. I think one for all is better then dragonfly, since you can put an actual adept mod on the weapon instead of dragonfly speck.

5 Repliesi did 50+ GMs the last 2 weeks and got plenty of adept weapons i think the droprates are fair for the time you invest, next week is palindrome and double nightfall loot so you can get 4 golfballs, 2 exos, 2 adept weapons and prisms for a time invest of 20mins. flawless ticket takes 1-2h the most cases so its fair for this time invest you get a guaranteed drop the first run, after this the drops arent guaranteed aswell. and this week you can do the runs even faster like 12-13min each.

Adepts should be garaunteed every run , just like trials adepts are -
I'm thinking just by asking players to go I there and handicapping them like bungie does should mean a automatic drop every run.

Yeah the droprates should be at least 50/50 with a Protection to get one at least every 3 Runs.

Kind of agree, but 5 games is not that much to get one drop.. you also got maybe mods or shard or exotic.. I know you probably have all exotics but man I was glad as last night solid 69 stat Orpheus Rig dropped for me. Had run my 60 stat version for over a year.
