I wake up to the sound of crying. Ana's crying about Dad again. Its been 2 years since Dad's death. Grampa says that Dad had a genetic curse, but when I asked him more he either shoves me away or switches the topic to his research. I have a feeling that Grampa is responsible for Dad's death. But I don't know how though. It's the next day and I ask Ana why she was crying (I already know why but I want to see if she's going to be honest with me) "I-I was not crying!!" Ana yells Stubborn as a mule as usual, "I heard you though." I argue back "LIAR!" She screams at the top of her lungs She stands up, and marches her way to her room and slams the door. My mother sighs and tells me not to do that ever again. "But she never is honest though." I say " Someone has to teach her" "And that someone is me" my Mother tells me in a kind voice, as if she was not mad at me" "Now your Grampa wants you too show you one of his experiments" Mother tells me "But I have a project to do for school!" I whine "Your Grampa is the most important scientist in the world! That's an excuse to miss your project!" Mother argues " Plus he wants to spend time with you!" "Ugh fine." I reluctantly say. I make my way to his office at the end of the city. I go inside and... BOOM! A flash of light takes away my vision for a split second and I see a weird robot staring at me. Its stomach is filled with a white fluid and has one red eye. It also seems to have a weapon in its hand. Its weapon charges up and I think its the end until my Grampa picks up a revolver and shoots one bullet into is belly. The robot shatters into pieces. "It worked!!!" Grampa yells like a madman " It really worked!!!" "What was that!!!" I yell "A Vex goblin, they come from a different world and I need them for my experiment." He says "Why do need these "Vex" for your experiment?" I question. " I will tell you, if you come with me to Europa."
