Has anyone who played Destiny 2 notice every move you make the enemy team knows your every move? As soon that I peek around the corner a sniper player is already in the position to take my head off. And this is the quickplay mode I am talking about. I know it is going on in trials of Osiris but quick play? I can't enjoy a decent competitive game anymore with aimbot going on. Has anyone addressed the console cheating besides pc players?

Man people are just good at the game. It is so hard to cheat on a console that it's not even worth the effort for the extremely vast majority of people. I havent played console in two years but even back then and even more in D1 I had people calling me a keyboarder all the time because I played a high sens and had good movement.

This can't be real. When did pc players address the console cheating? There just isn't that much cheating on console.

Edited by Kahrna: 3/26/2021 5:21:40 AMIt’s a 1 in 1000 chance of finding a cheater on console so don’t complain... been reported a lot and I’ve never cheated in my life... don’t report unless you’re sure... Edit: also on a side not the only true cheating console deals with on a day by day basis is DDOS

2 RepliesI get accused of cheating for know where people are all the time so I’m gonna say this. IF YOU PEAK THE MOST POPULAR ANGLES IN THE GAME, YOU’RE GETTING PREFIRED. It’s not a hard concept.

Only cheating on console is DDOS and network manipulation. Cronus Zen and MnK on console are input devices that Bungie has no control over, and it’s on Microsoft or Sony to ban them. I’ve been called an aimbot, and it’s only when the person doesn’t know how flinch works or that running 5 resilience stops one hit body shots.

1 ReplyThe only cheats for Console are the extremely rare times some people have bypassed the RoF of some weapons and nullifying recoil. Ain’t no cheats on console that gives you wall hacks

1 ReplyCheating has gotten out of hand on console, but getting sniped isn’t cheating. The cheating that I see frequently has to do with either lag switching, DDOSing, map manipulation, and manipulation of the solo queue so that a semi full team can play together, even though it’s a solo queue. Destiny 2 just have a LOT of problems with PVP period. Currently no skill based match making, wonky maps, and no real punishment for actual cheaters. I know Bungie is banning people, but when you can create a brand new account and jump back in, it’s kind of pointless.

To actually cheat on a console you need to convert your PS4 into a Linux computer. It’s an extremely difficult thing to do, and it can take months after a patch to get it all working again. The amount of people doing this on console would be an extremely small percentage, likely below 1%. There’s not any other way to run cheats on a console. I don’t even think it’s possible on the PS5’s.

"Oh no lemme walk out into this very common lane where snipers are known to watch for easy kills" *gets sniped* "obviously he's cheating" Bro if you don't get tf out
-
Ok so the main issues isn't cheating its the fact that PvP veteran players have played those maps to death for far too long so they know every angle by heart. So if you want to complain about something complain about the fact we never get new maps for PvP maybe then quick scoping wouldn't be so easy for sweats or you know bungie could just go back to sbmm that would work wonders as well instead of whatever the hell we have now.

😂😂😂😂 stop peeking

10 RepliesEdited by CAMMAX008: 3/26/2021 6:38:32 AMLike everyone's said, aimbot doesn't exist on console. And if you're complaining about people shooting you as soon as you turn a corner that would be more likely to be wallhacks. Which are also unavailable on console. Cheating on console is very minimal in destiny. Many people don't even know it exists at all because it's so rare. Edit: aimbot can be used on console, I was mistaken Second edit: I was right the first time. Aimbot can't be used on console in destiny. I found a video tutorial on how to set it up and quickly skimmed through it, and one of the features was an aim assist slider. So I assumed it worked in destiny, otherwise why would they show it. But no, it does not work in destiny.

1 ReplyOnly cheating I've experienced in all my years here is just lag.
-
8 RepliesTell you the truth nobody will believe you that people cheat on consoles when everybody knows it is possible it all begins with a PC mind you. every time I see Iron banner or something competitive like trials there is always huge amounts of cheating.

Never faced a cheater on Xbox

2 RepliesNot for much longer, new anti-cheat and anti-tamper technologies are coming to PS5 and I would think to other consoles soon.
-
7 RepliesI have never encountered a cheater on console
-
2 RepliesThat sounds like hard scoping not exactly hard to do let me guess you kept walking into that lane and got sniped every time
-
Sure, I’m all for anti-cheat everywhere... but will that prevent you from sticking your head in the exact center of a sniper lane?
-
1 ReplyDoesn't sound like a cheating problem. Sounds like someone hardscoping, and you keep peaking sniper lanes and giving them an easy target.
-
13 Replies1. Whilst cheating is on console, anyone who says otherwise are morons... Its not as bad as PC. 2. You probably got hardscoped by someone who sits in a lane and stays there.
-
Have you tried not peeking the most popular lanes on the map at head level or...?
-
Do you not realise people have been playing these same maps for years by now? They know the lanes, they know the corners.

1 ReplyConsole cheating on console.....? What about console cheating on pc? 🤔
