Ran into the first person that seems to be actually cheating on Xbox. Did some research on the guy and he went from a 1.1 kd player with a 40 percent accuracy to a 3.8 with a 90 percent accuracy and almost 90 percent win rate literally overnight. Guy just started playing in season 8 and in the middle of season 9 suddenly like in one day became a monster player. And has been posting crazy accuracy and win rates ever since. Not sure how good the anti cheat is if if can't detect a massive change in a players stats literally overnight.
And before anyone says cheats don't exist on Xbox, yes they do, they are just rare because they are hardware and expensive. So the most common is just lag switching because most cheaters are cheap. Thankfully.

Someone else is playing on the account is far more likely than cheating on a console

1 ReplyNah, bro. He's not cheating. He's just doing what the top tier eSports players are doing and getting his daily dose of Addera--uh, I mean Advanced GG Gummi Flavor!

6 RepliesBungie, contrary to popular belief, has a good anti cheat. The problem is the game is free to play so it effectively only cost time in order for hackers to bypass the anti cheat. Once a games anti cheat is bypassed and people are able to create an offset dump the anti cheat basically becomes useless. This “myth” that Bungie doesn’t have an anti cheat was created by someone who was understandably frustrated after played against a cheater and in their frustration said something stupid and now it’s taken as law by the community.

Idk met first cheaters in months today, heavy muns and probably aimbot + faster rpm on sniper. Was on QP btw, maybe their amount is higher in more "competitive" modes.

2 RepliesIf the dude is actually cheating, odds are good XBox will catch it and brick the console.
