The XP gives you an eververse engram alone, even without XP buffs. With XP buffs, you get 1.5 engrams per x4 XP challenge.

So it's grandmaster because you'll get a lame eververse engram once? Honestly it'd be right up Bungie's alley.

The grandmaster rewards, entirely separate from the challenge, are themselves worth farming for. The adept mods are strong and the SWARM is an excellent weapon what is viable in the endgame, as well as an absolute slew of exotics and masterwork materials.

That's valid, but it's still pretty low and scummy to tie it to dust and a large end-of-season payout

Edited by ZoniCat: 3/18/2021 10:40:54 PMIt's not tied to the payout, you can skip two challenges, and this GM challenge and the Trials 7-round wins are the two hardest ones to complete by a long shot. This challenge has 300 bright dust and 1 eververse engram tied to it, nothing else
