The weekly challenges are just brightdust and XP. It’s not like they are key to unlocking a new exotic.

They removed weekly bounties, also xp and bright dust, for this. So that's a net loss, regardless of how you feel about it.

Bounties still give brightdust. Not as much, but now u can get some from every core playlist vendor. Also the season pass gives way more. There is 50+ days left in the season I think most people should find enough Xp from just playing the game by then
