so imagine this, you're walking alone through patrol or a mission, and suddenly you hear whispers (aka the ones when you interact with a winnower statue) and brush it off
you hear them again, ok this is getting kind of weird...suddenly the corners of your screen go dark and out of the corner of your eye you see a shadowy version of your guardian contorting and coming to life
the music of the area you're in will begin to contort, and darkness motifs will be added in (like season of arrivals but badass) and you have to fight off a twisted creature resembling your guardian

<I'm not sure. I've been diving DEEP into the archives to find hints and all I got out of it was the Aphelion, the black goo creatures, the thing Cayde saw, and the statues. 3 of those suggest a race of creatures with primal intelligence based on their surroundings. On a world such as the ice planet the Drifter found, where these things reign supreme, they are docile. However, in places where they are alone (like the Aphelion seems to be alone), they lash out at the unfamiliar. Depending on how these things are made, it's possible they can take any shape or size. But the statues... curious things. Now that the devs have backed up Elsie's claim on Clarity Control being alive, that puts a halt on the "representation theory" and leans more towards... something else. My money is possession.>

I just hope they dont: - Spam skills - Teleport instead of walking - Run backwards faster than me going forward - Have a sidestep/dodge for incoming rockets - Deal massive damage at 30~50 meters like Vex chickens - Cast themselves into smoke to gain invulnerability and move around. - Obsessively re-position themselves running behind cover to regain shields/health and stay there forever up until you go shoot them at point blank. - Have sniping paranoia meaning they sense you're aiming down sights on them. Basically, they don't have the same copy pasted repertory of AI behaviors every single enemy on destiny has.
