It was a cool concept, but in practice it kind of limits my customization more than improve it.
The gold that just sticks to my weapon if I don't have either of the emblems equipped is completely unshadable, and that would be fine if I could just access the other two colors and make it work with whatever other shader I was equipping, but that isn't how it works. If I wanna make my gun red, I have to equip my emblem, which doesn't even have my usual crucible stat trackers. ONLY the trials of osiris ones.
What if I wanna have my gear glow red AND show off how many gold medals I've gotten?
It's not that big of an issue, and frankly, there are plenty of things about trials that need more attention than this, but I just don't see why it has to be tied to emblems like this.

1 ReplyDestiny 1's Chroma and endgame ornament systems were way better. Legendary armors gets basic glows, Trials and raid sets get unique special glows. Apply them in each armor piece to customize your look.

1 ReplyI do like the fact that the emblems affect the trials themed ornaments

Agreed, we should have the option to turn the glow on/ off. Also we should be able to change the glow color without having to choose a specific emblem! Would make all players so happy if this was possible!

1 Replyim getting sick of the trials glow from going flawless, want the armor no glow but i want the loot ;-;

Laughs in chroma

This is why I want glow aspects in Transmog, cuz there are plenty of armor sets (*cough* Solstice gear *cough*) that utilize Glows or any form of Chroma, and changing that via Chroma would be great

1 ReplyI wish if you had flawless seal- it was a permanent glow and u can change its color without the use of an emblem.
-
2 RepliesThat's literally the only reason I want Flawless. I wouldn't have a problem if they either allowed you to change it in the customization or if they just let the entire weapon be affected by shaders.

1 ReplyYou can choose what you want to display on your emblems, just show that
