Prophecy’s reward systems lack any good weaponry at this point. I’d like to see Trials of the Nine weapons to be implemented into Prophecy with all new rolls. Plus give a reason to play more Prophecy and maybe add a way to implement adept versions for Trials of the Nine.
I believe the community would enjoy having these weapons with new rolls to expand.

They should give trials of the nine ornaments too .some players couldnt get them all in first season . It feels unfair

8 RepliesThey should throw comp a bone.

1 ReplyMakes sense that a dungeon themed around the Nine dropping gear related to the Nine.
-
That's what they should've been from the start. Give them enough perks to have decent pve and pvp rolls and then cycle out the old destination weapons into the global lootpool.
-
You do got a point.

While I feel like this ship has kinda sailed, I wouldn't be opposed to them taking all of the Prophesy stuff minus Moonfang and moving it to the world loot pool next season and then dropping the trials gear into Prophesy to keep it fresh for another year.

Edited by Gravezero: 3/16/2021 3:56:03 AMPut them in comp as rank up rewards, with a random curated adept weapon for hitting legend. *for immersions sake* rename comp as challenge of the 9, and use the emissary as the announcer.

1 ReplyBack in D1 the crucible quartermaster used to have PvP weapon bounties that had a chance of trials weapons. Maybe Shaxx could offer something similar?
-
I like this idea. I've actually haven't gone into the prophecy dungeon in months simply because I don't feel like going through the whole dungeon to get one Pinnacle weapon when I can get 2 or 3 in the same time. I would definitely go back in their fight a chance of getting TotN weapons.
-
I agree that it makes sense for these to drop from Prophecy, however, I'm a little tired of having new rewards from old content. I have little incentive to do Shattered Throne or Pit of Heresy for the new weapons since I've already played them at length, I would have a similar issue with them adding these weapons to old content. What if they added them to the Competitive playlist as random drops from wins after reaching Fabled? The chance for a drop could go up as you get higher ranks. This would give an incentive to play the game mode because Comp needs some love.

There will be a nine themed season and that’s when they will reissue them. Maybe a new dungeon if we’re lucky but it will prob be a boring Grundy activity to get them.
-
Or they could just add new Trials of the Nine themed things.

2 RepliesIkelos shotgun used to be top tier, has that changed now?
-
You're absolutely right, they should be implemented into trials of osiris as potential end of match rewards. I also agree that we should nerf fusions. You've hit the nail on the head
-
5 RepliesDisagree. Should be earned through PvP only imo.
-
that would be amazing because the prophecy dungeon is the only one related with the nite, would make alot of sense.
-
All three dungeons should of had there own unique gear themed around the bosses and enemies a truly missed opportunity. If anything the dungeons have been a great addition to destiny and if they are removing forsaken content we will need a replacement with an ice dungeon of some kind.
-
Drop raid weapons/gear in the Crucible, and we got a deal.
-
I approve!
-
6 RepliesThat would oversaturate the loot pool when there’s good things to grind in there already like the Ikelos sg and hc along with death adder.

1 ReplyHow about new weapons. Stop asking for stale bread. I want new stuff bungie stop giving us hand me downs. Hand me down raids hand me down weapons and armor.i already played with trials of the nine crap. I want new stuff!
-
5 RepliesTrials type weapons in all activity. Such as desperado perk on pulse in NF/raids

1 ReplyUpdate: this topic spun out of control with a few valid points while others just responded with irrelevant points. As for that valid point, since Prophecy is a good dungeon and the Trials of the Nine armor dropped. So should different variants of the ToN weapons. Note - There had been raid weapons before back in Destiny 1 used in pvp. Examples: Fate Bringer, Smite of Merrain, Found Verdict, Touch of Malice and etc. Same goes for weapons from D2 Gambit has been used in pvp or in raids. Examples: Trust, Parcel Stardust, Bygones and so forth. Bad Omen has been used in Last Wish Riven boss. This season Retrofuturist can roll pvp stats or pve stats. What is a problem for having pvp weapons to be used in pve?
-
Ive been saying this Too my friends alot as its the only "Nine" related activity. It would make sense as the armor is in there as already. You can claim there pvp only guns but im almost 100% certain most players who have those weapons got them through year 1 clan rewards. (Which i didnt have a clan till i got my friends into the game around forsaken).
-
I agree completely
-
Would only make sense, armor is there.
