In the Captains log lore book, Qinzig the Psion talks with a red legion Psion so they can steal the Glykon war ship. Qinzig made a point that Psions are secretly working together to make sure every choice leads to the freedom of the psions.
If Twitter Caital is right about preferring to face Zavala on the field, then consider this:
The Prions set up a failed assassination attempt on Zavala, in response the vanguard removed any idea of peace and go to destroy Caital. After the last chain falls, The Psions can simply walk away or turn the position of power on its head and control the rest of the Cabal.
Although I can't pinpoint who, I believe all Psions were behind this attack.
*Edit*
People are saying it's Saladin which sounds cool but I don't think he would:
1. Saladin values protecting the city and Guardians over personal issues.
2. Would break the Iron decree.
3. Why work with the enemy you want to destroy?

1 ReplyHillary Clinton of course !!!

2 RepliesEdited by Necrogen: 3/17/2021 12:13:30 PMI received a new full body costume that looked like a Psion and I wanted to scare zavala. It didn't go well...did you know he hasn't slept well?

It was me, okay! I did it! I got sick of him eating all the Gjallardoodles every time the Dawning comes around.

6 RepliesRed Legion. That’s what the data miners say anyway. I kinda think Saladin may have double crossed him for using diplomacy with them, but that would be too cool of a story for Destiny.

No clue but does sound kinky. Keep in mind there is no direct eye contact in a devil's 3way nor when being assinated.

A hero.

15 Repliesok i JUST watched a video on this... one by evade. he theorized that SALADIN is behind it! the evidence? one, saladin’s been all grumpy with the cabal, constantly talking about how we should be taking the fight to them instead of fooling around with the proving grounds. two, that would be his motive. let the assassin into the city and let him try to kill zavala in hopes that this would convince him that they need to take more action. three, a couple people in the comments of said video pointed out that in season of arrivals it was said that there was a traitor among us. idk exactly who said that tho so if anyone knows please tell me! honestly, i’d be pretty heartbroken if saladin was behind this! i’d be so upset!

Someone is lurking in the shadows and it's impossible to believe that it was Saladin

3 RepliesEdited by Jim_PHX: 3/15/2021 3:18:07 AMThe real question is...... Why would Crow spy on Zavala with his mask off?.......that is literally the most ridiculous/careless thing he could of done at the time. LOL
-
If we are to indulge in conspiracy theories, perhaps the psion was sent as a messenger to strike a deal with Zavala to help weaken Caital. Crow is unwittingly a sleeper agent and thinks he's there to protect Zevala, but is really stalking to take him out.
-
Saladbar wants to keep the war going. That way he can have the heroic moments he feels bad for missing in the Red War while he was sipping tea on his mountain amd watching better Guardians clean up.
-
I believe my salads gone bad.

it's like the time when the whole world trying to figure out who shot jr Ewing in Dallas.
-
What if the psion was sent to watch over and protect Zavala from an assassination attempt by a rogue faction.
-
3 RepliesWhoever it was, it’s driving more division into the Guardian leadership. Saladin wants to do things the Iron Lord way. Osiris is pulling his strings. Zavala is reaching breaking point, and Ikora seems absent. What they need is a unifying presence. A Speaker. Come on Crow, take off the mask and have your moment!

think about them using the vex network, a simulation that is pretty much real, where time doesn't matter, nor do timelines, they all exist on top of each other. So how long have the psions been working within the network, how long have they been messing with anything that has prediction abilities (not just their version)? Imagine three prediction engines, all trying to predict an outcome that is influenced by beings, imagine two have been infected to think alike, to predict the same.
-
Well I have successfully deduced that it is not failsafe.
jokes aside I think your onto something.
Eva Levante.

It’s taniks, he called some backup just to pull an reverse card but knew it would failed horribly. Either way he would do it anyways because he always scream.

It was me. The assassin failed to follow simple instructions. He was supposed to push him over that balcony.

Edited by Ferus Lux: 3/13/2021 7:25:22 PMAssassinations are mostly out of character for the Cabal empires military. That's mainly Calus's thing. Remember Otzot? The sellout Psion who was content with his people having low status so he could stay as a superior with the most privilege? I'm sure he didn't like it one bit when Caiatl said Guardians would be the pride of the Cabal empire. Otzot and many Psions dont want to be pushed lower on the totem pole... Psion Army inbound?
