Sleeper Simulant buff.
I would personally like to see a precision damage buff or something alike to Sleeper Simulant. It used to be one of my favorite weapons, even in Destiny 1. Please, Bungie, give it a little love.

Sticking to the seraph design of the weapon, I think the laser should over penetrate targets like it currently does but my idea is that when it penetrates a target, it splits into multiple beams that seek other nearby targets. Hitting multiple enemies will boost the damage of your next shot.

Buff its base damage by 15% then give it a 30% chance to create warmind cells on a kill and picking up cells generates ammo for sleeper.

2 RepliesBoost its damage a bit, give the ricochet rounds a higher damage bonus again or have the ricochet shots have some level of tracking so that they’re actually usable and reliable, give it some sort of anti-champion capability (I mean look at that thing, it’s gotta stagger or pierce something), and let it generate Warmind Cells. This just seems like basic things it should already have.

Literally it needs to be reworked. No more stupid, "shoot the floor for max damage" and back to how it was before. It wasn't broken, it was good, it was fun. Now you do shit all unless you try to aim it like a shotgun bouncing off a mirror.

Give it the Merciless treatment. Non lethal hits increase fire rate. Would have to up it’s mag size though

Agreed. God rolled legendary linears should not out dps sleeper, especially with catalyst.

But 2 or more post seems bizzare now. You guys know something that I don't, huh?... It's like walking in the "We are listening" territory. And when next update comes and they actually buff Sleeper, you'll see praises of "they are listening" posts everywhere! 😂😂😂 It's so predictable I can see it from a mile away! 😂😂😂 Logic!

I think it would be interesting if a critical hit allowed the beam refractions to track other enemies; it would allow them to be more consistent in the damage they could deal.

I seen a video the other day comparing the new linear , threaded needle, to Sleeper, it's sad that a legendary can out DPS an iconic exotic such has sleeper I wish they would return it to it's D1 glory -

Yeah it’s been at least a whole year, they said they aren’t sunsetting exotics but they might as well if they keep weapons nerfed out of commission for an overextended period of time. Especially if they’re lacking in new weapon content.

I don't understand the bounce refraction thing anyway, it's rarely useful. Just remove it and add that wasted damage to the main shot itself. Or give the bounce some kind of tracking. It's so, so useless most of the time.

We have also changed the way the color pink looks on Hunters. 🎻

1 ReplyAgreed. I just started to use it again after getting the catalyst and I love it. Bungie, how about giving the whole game a buff. Weapons, abilities, etc all need some serious attention. Make it more fun and versatile to play. Hopefully, season 14 will do just that.
