At this point, you’re bringing out new armor pieces every season - which is great, no issue there - but that render the old masterworked versions we have obsolete due to no forward compatibility with newer seasonal mods. So we masterwork armor pieces that become obsolete. We break them down and we lose 2+ enhancement prisms and for sure any ascendant shards permanently, in the process. Currently the only way to get ascendant golf balls - correct me if I’m wrong - is to do the 1330 nightfall. And the drop rate for those is abysmal. If you’re going to make them SO rare to find in in-game activities, they have to be made cheaper to purchase from Banshee. Especially since we don’t get the enhancement materials back when breaking down an obsolete armor piece. Please reconsider this in-game mechanic as it is a part of the seasonal burnout so many Destiny players are experiencing. Either make those golf balls cheaper to buy OR return what we put into them when armor pieces are broken down.
