Buff Sleeper Simulant before VoG returns
It would just be nice to have another boss dps option.
Plus, you over-neutered it to begin with and you owe it an apology.

They gutted the gun by nerfing it during the Gambit launch. Now we are asking them to buff it and bring it back, where it was before or close to it. This cycle of buffing and nerfing and then buffing again the same guns over and over the years is also getting old by now. You know what it screams about them?... It yells "We don't know what the phuck we're doing with our own game!" That's what it says out loud! They'll do that again to Sleeper and I'll call them unprofessional blam for the entire length of this franchise!!! We've been here before. Sleeper was already here! They touch it one more time, you'll see! It will not be the end. You'll see!

Sleep a simulant used to be a beast back in destiny one it's a far cry from that now it should be restored to its former glory

By recycling the VoG, Bungie makes a case that they can recycle, hence put zero effort or creativity to their game, and still retain their scrubby playerbase. Enjoy your premium priced hamster wheel with zero content.

really all linears could use a buff, Ehroar did a break down and basically came to the conclusion that they arnt the worst but not the best either. I would like to see them get better perks and maybe buff damage vs bosses and vehicles.

Yeah, Bungie doesn't like anyone having something that works in this game, and it's part of the reason I'm tired of seeing D1 weapons brought into this watered-down game. Besides that, the loot system and how stats are set up in this game with broken mods. VoG is just going to be another mediocre activity with a messed-up loot pool. IMO, there are somethings that should be left alone, and knowing Luke thinks he can "fix" things all the time is why this game has been one huge mess. Although, if I want to run it just for entertainment I guess there is at least something to do for a week.

Everyone focus' on "best", but in my experience, unless you're in a sherpa group, what weapons you use is a personal preference. For example, everyone has their stat based perfect DPS weapon for each raid boss, but with exception of Sanctified Mind, we've used 6x Heir Apparent just for giggles, and had great success with it. If Bungie molests...I mean nerfs one weapon, there is always another 2-3 to take it's place (remember Izanagi's?)

I’d love for this thing to be good again, but I think the DPS options in VoG are gonna be Whisper, Cloudstrike, DARCI?, Anarchy, Witherhoard, Eyes of Tomorrow, and Izanagi’s Burden. Would be nice if there was like a Deathbringer strat, Lament, or Fourth Horseman + Bakris combo strat too.

If I had my choice between a buffed Sleeper and getting a pre-nerfed IceBreaker, damn I have no idea which I'd pick for VoG? I sooooooo loved being over watch with my Icebreaker in VoG.

It's gotten so boring doing that to virtually every boss in the game. Thinking I might bust whisper of the Worm back out. Black Hammer and Spindle were crazy good for Templar and atheon back in the day after all. Also, can't wait to see how many new people run vog and fire rockets inside the relic bubble.

Probably not. Whisper, tracking Rockets, legendary snipers, or Darci are going to be meta. We might even see a sword strat at some point. Sleeper and Linear Fusions need a pve buff though. It’s sad when the best DPS linear is a god-roll legendary. Linears and Machineguns both require precision, but have terrible DPS compared to the others. How does that work? They’ve also both have less total damage and extended DPS than swords. Even to that extent, Linears have less add clear ability than Machineguns. The only time they’ll ever be used is if we need an extended DPS phase that’s too far for swords and Slug Shotguns. A 25% flat damage buff in PvE ONLY could work. I prefer adding an extra 25% to the precision damage multiplier. This would allow them to serve as the Ranged DPS value. Their precision weapons, why are they doing less than rockets when you actually need to aim for the head?
