so you can see people using aimbot when looking them up on trials tracker when they have like 100% headshot kills but bungie cant figure that out and ban people. thats just 1 example of other sites to prove people cheating wth bungie comon

19 RepliesAllo there, If you suspect someone of cheating then please report them in game. You can also report them via the link at the bottom of the reporting a player page

12 RepliesEdited by T_rar: 3/11/2021 2:00:34 PMContrary to popular belief Bungie does issue IP / hardware bans to cheaters, not that cheaters don't know ways around that. At any rate that is about as harsh of a punishment they can give out so Bungie requires more proof than good stats from a third party site. That is just common sense. And that is actually the difficulty of detecting cheaters in d2. Usually the cheat code is injected on the player side, and Bungie can't see that. Gotta love P2P servers. So what can they do? Well they can watch the match but keep in mind they don't see what the cheaters see. So now it can take over 10 minutes to review a match and painstakingly question if someone has god tier aim or are they cheating? Over the course of a weekend thousands of matches happen so they physically can't review all that by hand it would take a team of 10 anti cheat guys over a year to review one weekend of matches. Make use of the report tool, it does help narrow their search.

It's been made very clear that Bungie will not punish cheating. See today's twab as an example. No mention of what happened in trials whatsoever. Just sweep it under the rug and forget it.

4 RepliesMy first thought was: Does trials tracker actually detect cheat code? NO They gather stats and you infer cheating via someone's stats. So, they have no proof of a cheat which means neither do you. Being really good does not make someone a cheater. So the advice to you is STOP worrying about other players stats and who killed you. Just play the game for fun, watch your own stats and see them improve.

2 RepliesThat stat is not accurate representation of what is going on in game. You can shoot your sniper all day long... As long as you are not assisting, you are not getting scored via the misses. Yes.. it is a “sign”.. but not a solid piece of information. Also.. if I body shot first, then finish with an actual crit shot.. that would still be 100% accuracy. I remember watching realkraftyy playing someone sus... and the only player with over 95% accuracy was kraftyy 🤷🏻♀️

Trials population would be non existent on pc if they actually banned all the cheaters.

Don’t worry, they’re using the money they could spend on an actual anti-cheat to hire more staff to manually review the thousands of reports they get daily!
