Despite the changes to Combat Style Armour Mod sockets to make them not limited by the season that the armour released in, some pieces of armour cannot equip Elemental Well Mods. I have Exotic armour from vanilla D2 and from Forsaken and Legendary armour from Beyond Light and newer that can, but Legendary armour from Season of Arrivals that cannot.
