I am yet to find valid reason to masterwork any armor personally

I’ll give you one good reason. When you have an abundant of exotic shards. Since you can 12 man master nightfall, I’ve been farming it and getting exotic shards. I mean inventory I can hold 10 and post master I can hold 10. I don’t want them to go to waste, so I use them to masterwork armor.

Well even if you don't do a lot of endgame, some of those mods are stupid amounts of energy cost. Warmind mods, heavy ammo plus a stat mod and relic. I generaly need 10 slots to equip the mods I want because energy cost is so high on the good mods.

Fair enough I'm OK with 8 or 9 for my builds so far

It really depends. For an average player, it’s probably not a big deal. But masterworking all your armor is a +10 in all stats and lets you use your armor to its fullest potential. If you’re not doing anything hard enough for this to be useful (like GMNFs or Trials) then it’s simply not that valuable to you. But it is certainly incredibly valuable in activities where every mod slot counts and having incredibly specific stats can be the difference between you winning or losing. Most simply don’t realize how much power your armor truly possesses when you go in with a plan and a build.

Ahh fair enough makes sense then as I dont do trials or GM stuff rewards are not worth the grind imo and don't want to waste time on lfg for GM content

Yeah I'm fine without adept gear personally happy with run of the mill weapons so far but makes sense GMs need to award good gear
