Do you think Nokris is still alive. (Opinion poll)
So we all know Nokris got the boss fight and lore he deserved back in season of arrivals
The hated son defied death itself thanks to necromancy, much like myyyy favourite boss in the game [i]wink wink[/i]
But even after we killed him in season of arrivals the question of "is he alive" still hangs in the air. So what are you opinions on the matter?
[spoiler] personally I'd be alright with either or. If he comes back that's sick but if he doesn't he went out with a bang[/spoiler]

7 RepliesNokris wasn’t an ascendant hive which means he wouldn’t return to any type of throne world when he dies like oryx or Crota would. Which means Power hive beings like Nokris, Xol, Alak hul, and omnigul are super dead 👍🏾

9 RepliesRemember how that whole taken curse thing was happening in the dreaming city? I could of swore I read somewhere in the lore that Savathun was responsible for it being on endless repeat. What occurred to me was this: Savathun can manipulate time loops....how else can we explain defeating the curse in the dreaming city over and over again? So if she can manipulate time, what are the limits to her power? Can she “reset” Oryx, Crota, and Nokris? [spoiler]I actually don’t think Savathun has temporal powers exactly. But it is a fun thought, as potentially everything can be undone by her, if it were true.[/spoiler]

Edited by Mircelius the Wanderer: 3/4/2021 3:17:34 PMI say yes but a bit of no as well. Nokris was a necromancer after all. He was disgraced by Oryx (his father) because he sided with Xol for power. But Nokris of course wasn't a puppet to Xol. He "broke free from his chains" as he said in the season of arrivals. I think Nokris planned to take Xol's power to one; prove to his father that he was a good son. And two; prove his worth to his aunt Savathún. It would make sense right. But the reason I think no is due to the fact that he died twice. Once in the real world and a second in the Ascendant world. I think he would come back Taken controlled by Savathún's will. If he does manage to make a comeback as his normal self. Then Savathún still needs him. If not, then he died the honorable way of the Hive. By the way of the Sword.

He was killed in the ascendant plane he is perma dead. However there is evidence that they may be able to resurrect Oryx, so anything is possible at this point. The entire pantheon could be resurrected against their wishes and things could get interesting.

4 RepliesHe’s dead. No one would go through the effort of resurrecting him because he’s proven on multiple occasions to be ineffective against us. Even if we assume Savathûn learned necromancy from him, she has no use for him.

Nokris got killed off in the Ascendant Realm. Can't be any deader than that where the Hive is involved.

Im not worried about Nokris, Xivu Arath and Savathun and the remaining worm gods are a far bigger threat I think we need more focus on. Nokris is dead, or so I believe, we did kill him in the ascendant realm, Crota and Oryx are still dead, lets try and keep them that way, I know that Hive like resurrection and rebirth, but if we can we can delay their return for awhile.
