Extended mag perks sometimes do nothing
Got a nice Threaded Needle with auto-loading and vorpal weapon. The magazine perks were liquid coils and enhanced battery.
With:
Liquid coils = 5 shots
Enhanced battery = 5 shots
Liquid coils + backup mag = 5 shots
Enhanced battery + backup mag = 6 shots
In order to add just 1 shot I need both enhanced battery [i]and[/i] the backup mag mod. It just don't feel right :/

1 ReplyThey run on a percentage. Every weapon or archetype in the game has a cap where they won't go up anymore no matter what you do. Rapid fire frame snipers can reach a maximum of 8 shots, Adaptives can reach a maximum of 7 shots, and high impacts can reach a maximum of 5 shots. To really achieve those numbers, you do need mag perjs that give higher percentage increase to the mag , and then you need backup mag to go further. If you've tried both Extended Mag and Backup Mag on a weapon and it doesn't increase mag size, then that's the cap.
