PLEASE REMOVE THE 50 GUARDIAN KILLS FOR TICUU'S DIVINATION CATALYST QUEST
I do not like this Catalyst Quest. I despise this game's PVP and its probably one of the worst PVP in any game I've played and I don't want to be part of it.
Bungie expects everyone to do this -blam!- quest only to get -blam!-ed by -blam!- running Felwinter's, Palindrome, Steady Hand, Dead Man's Tale, or some other CANCER/AIDS fuelled weapon in the game.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S GOOD change this requirement to something else, reduce the requirement to either 10 or 20 or just remove it.

i hate this git gud mentality people seem to have whenever someone doesnt want to pvp. i know it may be easy for some of you to rack up kills like crazy but for some of us its nearly impossible. give me some pve ways to do it, even if its 500 vaguard missions or something silly. i dont feel like being cannon fodder to boost some pvp persons ego and im pretty sure most teams would appreciate losing some of the dead weight they get stuck with due to pve people being forced into a mode they dont want to be in. i know its sad for people to request something simple when pvp balance is a nightmare but this is literally so simple it doesnt make sense why it cant be changed quickly along with other pvp requirement on other catalysts.

Hello. Just don't do it. I really enjoyed when I abandon this q catalyst quest not worth at all. I don't even understand why they put to kill guardiand to get catalyst for any weapon. I wish to see that smart guy to playing pvp i D2 and get 50 kills. Good luck. Just deleted!!!!!

There are so many more important issues to worry about, just in regards to pvp alone, that for you to waste time posting about something this insanely easy is offensive. Get on the same page as those of us trying to make real change happen where it actually matters or sit down, shut up, and let the adults talk.

1 ReplyOnce you get the quadruple bonus to the catalyst on season pass, it only takes like twelve kills to complete. It's not that difficult.

It's not that hard. Maybe give it a try before hopping in forums to start complaining. It's not even 50 kills. Once you figure out, that you have to aimbot the shit outta the lobby with the bow's hipfire and then only hit them once more most of the time it gets easy. Proof is that enough people can get quite some kills with that thing.

I think the issue here is probably the quest might not be tracking properly. Supposedly you're supposed to get 4 times the progression for the catalyst. I know this because its happening to me.

Or provide alternate paths. Already being done on other quests e.g. Dead Man Walking where you can accelerate the completion of the catalyst by finding log book pages (12% or so per log book page). Those are time gated so eventual;y you’ll get it. Or 800 kills, or a combination of both. So, here: 50 kill points in PvP (I.e. 13 kills if you have the 4x multiplier) and/or (say) 500 kills in PvE. Equitable number to be figured out based on stats. To the “Git Gud” crew: PvP is toxic, highly so. It is not enjoyable for the majority of people because most don’t like volunteering to be cannon fodder. And PvP is heavily rigged against new people/lower skill people. Think Usain Bolt vs couch potato in 100m dash. Yeah, no thanks. Add to that the utter disdain of those in the upper echelons of PvP to those in the lower ones, and you get a toxic mix.

use stasis duskfield grenade. it puts them right where you want em. and they get tilted.

You’ll live without it. No change, working as intended, get good.

Actually it’s fairly easy. I only 1 or 2 kills to get. I’ve followed other guardians around in crucible and stole the kills. 1 kill equals 4 after lvl 22 or something like that.
