Allo there,
Unfortunately I'd say that is by design as the boots reload your equipped weapon and if you're running around with that sniper and have 1 bullet in the mag then the boots will reload it.

Hi. I don't want to be an ass, but facts in hand none system on whole Destiny 2 game works as intended. So instead of "you saying" could you "make sure" or call out that detail to ones responsible behind it? It's a dumb interaction that mostly they haven't even figured it out. Thanks a lot.
