With card-based matchmaking, there's no saying that a team of negative kds will go against ZkMushroom and Frostbolt-like players, and that's what's preventing casuals and your average destiny player from playing trials. With skill-based matchmaking, casuals won't be afraid to go into trials, the games will be closer and more competitive, and maybe even enjoyable! Card based matchmaking just doesn't make any sense at all. Theoretically, card-based matchmaking enables experiences that would be like a recreational football team going against an NFL who are both on the same game of the season. How does that make any sense? I would actually love to hear what your thought process was when implementing card-bassed matchmaking.
Also, nerf behemoth super duration and resilience, nerf shurikens, and for the love of GOD, nerf geomag + chaos. A player should not be able to get his super back every single round in trials. Here's a start: cancelling chaos refunds 0 energy (that should not be an ability intrinsic to the super, it should be tied to an exotic.) And maybe instead of using geomags to run and top off your super, maybe thats the exotic that lets you canel mid-super and save energy? THAT right there Bungo, would be a great change.

1 ReplyChanging the system to the way it was in Destiny 1 would revive trials. Meaning everybody had a chance to get the weapons or armour by completing the bounties and not requiring 3 wins to turn them in.
