I’m not looking for advice.
I’m trying to make a point about lack of build diversity and how underpowered the warlock light subclasses have been allowed to become in endgame pve.
So underpowered that the game mechanics start to breakdown.

Not looking advice, just complaining because you went in under levelled and with the wrong gear. I see...

So you think content where there are only two viable builds is good content?

There are more than two builds and it’s one activity. It’s not the same loadout needed for every activity

Read the thread. You’ll see they’re all suggesting the same builds.

But they arent, literally the most optimal stuff for endgame is on warlock light subclasses, you can run through anything and everything with you loadout if you are competent enough.

aight let me point out where you are WRONG from a warlock main Devour is used for the insta heal Slow-va is used for boss dps and the ad clear potential Top tree dawn is used for mobility and speed Well is well Storm trance is great for ad clear Chaos reach is amazing for dealing with elites in raids. YOU ARE CAPPING if you think warlocks are only good on well which means you are a trash warlock

Same with Chaos Reach. Who’s damage output sucks unles you run GeoMags. There is no need for”ad clear” supers before Beyond Light. That’s what your primary weapon is for. Bottom tree Voidwalker you pay for Devour by having a terrible super. Which is why I never use it. Show up to an LFG end game group running anything but Well or Stasis and you will get booted.

No. What I’m saying is I have seven years of experience playing as a warlock main in this franchise. I have literally been playing as as Warlock since the D1 beta. So I have an intimate knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of every subclass and aspect. Like I said. If you show up for an end game pve LFG group running anything other than Well or top tree Voidwalker you will get laughed at. Because everyone else understands how ridiculously inefficient the other builds are. And if you don’t get booted, you will be “asked” to change after the first wipe. Bet the house on it.
