Locate Toland bugged?
I went inside this week's ascendant challenge and found Toland but it is not completing the bounty to locate him. I died and respawn to locate him at 3 different location... still doesn't seem to progress my bounty. Is this a known issue?

As of nov 25 bug still confirmed. Luckily I only tried two times before ending up in this thread.

Same. I’ve made posts about it and Bungie has not responded to them. Or anyone’s for that matter.

Tried to run that bounty last night and couldn't complete it either. It's definitely bugged. I found him in these scenarios: Completed Ascendant Challenge, located him, listened to this dialogue. Uncompleted Ascendant Challenge, located him, listened. Left planet to orbit, returned, located him a third time, listened. Nothing would trigger the bounty to flag complete that I could do.

Their Patch notes mentioned they fixed something like that: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/50097 "Fixed an issue where Toland could be missing from Ascendant Challenges" But like the Boss Damage Rubber Banding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpiXtYyJORo and Motes under the map in Gambit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTAPTWAGr3w they have not. Sunsetting was supposed to make the game more stable and easier to fix bugs, but apparently it's the exact opposite. It keeps getting more and more broken.

1 ReplySame here, Bungie fixed only an issue where Toland could be missing from Ascendant Challenges. Now we can find him, nobody talked about bounty progress
