Perdition, the 1300 Legendary Lost Sector is every wrong with the current approach to end game “challenge”. Ginned up by making the player incredibly weak.
Though I went in solo at 1288, that is well with the delta that you use for contest modifier content. Each run literally ran into a wall created by the Overload Champions. In each case, in addition doing such damage that I was getting two-tapped by them. In addition to them being able to teleport halfway across the map. In addition, to them spamming their weapons continuously?
They were healing faster than I could damage them with both a sword...and my super (Stormtrance). Despite have the proper mods equipped and meta weapons!!
It took THREE rockets to bring down ONE of the. Three direct hits with cluster bomb equipped rockets!
Whose idea of “fun” is this??
Whose idea of “fun” is reducing the player to hacking away at an enemy with a sword, and seeing his health bar go up!
Whose idea of “fun” is deploying what is supposed to be one of the most powerful attacks in the game, and watch an enemy not only shrug it off... but actually HEAL ITSELF WHILE UNDER ATTACK BY IT?!?!
It really lends credibility to the forum criticisms: Do you play your own game? And if you do, how did this get through??

A sword no matter how meta is not the ticket to a overloads demise (lament being a rare exception). 2. Wrong subclass, stasis is god tier against champions, but efen if you don't have it, never choose your load out based on shields, esspecially when it comes to subclass, you should of been runhing well or possibly that one that grants devour, instead of stormtrance.
It took THREE rockets to bring down ONE of the. Three direct hits with cluster bomb equipped rockets!
Rocket? Yes, good choice. Cluster? No....if you want max damage against anything in this game using rockets, look into getting yourself a lasting impression roll on the new seasonal rocket, 10k for the direct hit, 50k for the explosion afterwards, jusg make sure to keep the thing stunned. Here is the loadout i used in perdition today (5 15 min or less runs if i remember with one death in 2 of the runs, all i did just today) night watch scout (i have drop mag with rapid hit n explosive rounds i recommendat least having rapid hit) ticcu's divination (could possible ge exchanged for trinity ghoul if you really want to melt shields) code whatever it's called auto reload with lasting impression, make sure to have finder n scavengers for the scout n rocket, subclass i used was stasis with dusk field, but you could use that turret thihg from a distant to freeze the champion in place.
Whose idea of “fun” is this??
This is my idea of fun, champions are a exotic type of prey to hunt, challenging prey as well, n i've had a thrill taking them out solo ever since since season of the worthy
