Honestly the only thing that you said was an issue was the teleportation cooldown's non existence is the only real crisis when fighting them. Other than that you're just whining, you went in 12 levels under it which I did too and had no issue, you clearly were not using good gear if the guy was healing, and stunning captains means they cannot heal, meaning you didn't even bring a mod. You went in totally unprepared and got burnt for it congrats, stop complaining and get better, don't blame warlock when you're using the worst solo lost sector super. Don't blame the game when you obviously mess up accordingly, just get good and stop being a brat. You always complain to other players about things they think acting high and mighty until a minor inconvience gets in your way and then you shut down completely, get skill get kills.

  • If your going to call me out, the actually get my argument correct. I’m not whining about it being hard. I used to solo D1 nightafalls. The point is that the game mechanics BREAK DOWN. And if they break down from simply being 12-under the something is broken.

  • The point i am making is that they are not fundamentally broken, you just are fighting them incorrectly. The only OP thing overloads have is their teleport, which can be stopped when stunned. Something being broken means it is not working, whereas overpowered is something out of tune. You are making the argument that they were not meant to teleport this much nor heal nor fire this fast. They were meant to to add difficulty and frustration to overcome. Fight them correctly and they are nothing more than a minor nuisance.

  • Yes. I am. The problem is that the game won’t permit me to do enough damage to finish them off. Because Bungie specifically nerfed the effectiveness of swords against them...and none of the games other legendary heavies can fill the void. And saying you have to run one of two exotics just makes my point. The whole reason behind adding champions was to add depth to the games combat. Not make it even more one-dimensional.

  • It wasn't to add depth at all really, the purpose was to create seasonal metas to shake up how pve is played on a seasonal basis. Rockets are currently on top of pve meta too and the game has been pretty one dimensional in challenging activities for years. While I agree its annoying to have to use what you don't wanna is annoying its how destiny 2's core gameplay is.

  • That’s not why they were added. But unfortunately that’s how the sandbox team has been using them. As a backhanded way of controlling loadouts. And is also why the community is starting to get frustrated and pushback harder and harder at champions. Because of the lack of control over their loadouts and how they wish to play. That is going to be ultimately self-defeating in Bungie’s part.

  • Looking at your profile you don't have much of a handle on the game, Stormcaller is a terrible damage super with the exception being Chaos Reach but if you want to be safe using Downloader or Well is far superior in solo activities, your sword role is hot garbage with it making it a terrible weapon to use and since your 12 LL below activity 3 rockets make so much sense. Nightwatch is the last scout id think to use in an activity like this and your ikelos is alright. Your armor is barely thrown together and in general only your gauntlets have good stats. You need to learn how things work before you do them. Just because a weapon is meta doesn't mean every single roll is going to be god especially with some of the nerfs.
