Yet you leave the most used pvp weapon archetype untouched pratically.

6 RepliesI’m just curious, has there ever been a fusion rifle meta in this game? I can’t really think of a time there was. There was a time where erentil was super good if it had a very specific roll (and bungie nerfed the hell out of all fusions just because of the 1 very specific roll on one fusion) and then of course we have had ebbs and flows with a bunch of different exotic fusions like telesto and jotunn. But I don’t think there has ever been a fusion meta ever in this game. Meanwhile we are in year 4 and pretty much for 3 years now we have been in either a shotgun or a sniper meta. Bungie is crap, they can’t balance, they can’t program and it’s time we have fusion rifle meta.

Try sidearms, I've been using theme recently and it can out down most shotgunners as they sprint towards you. Felwinter range is insane but that's the only gun that gets me now and way less often

Its been that way for almost all of destiny. They are to easy to use and are a one hit kill. So dont for see it changing.

They nerfed 600rpm autos pretty quick but don’t touch shotguns even when about 98% of players use them or Felwinters and even worse I see players only using shotguns the entire match. They need to make shotguns way harder to use . I think the problem is player movement especially titans and hunters is so fast they can fly across the room in a blink of an eye which is incredibly beneficial for a shotgun user but fast movement for sidearm or fusion player does absolutely nothing. So it looks like stasis isn’t going away so player movement will remain super fast then shotguns should have aim assist turned off and maybe shrink the hitbox making it harder to hit that ohk crit. Then players would probably be more cautious and it would give fusions and sidearms a little more action. The smg buff was about as big of a joke as whatever scout buff they claim happened. I don’t understand why bungie makes all these cool weapons then consistently makes hc’s and shotguns more op than anything in the game that 98% of the players will only use those two classes.

Well last time I checked the top 10 weapons most used in PvP are shotguns and hang cannons., just like destiny one days. I mean they tried to give some kind of variety by buffing the auto rifle but that lasted all of about four weeks before the usual crybabies got it nerfed back again. with their one shot shotguns that need no skill, and to tap hand cannons it's no wonder what the meta is, just means there is no skill in PvP

2 RepliesSnipers are still too powerful and need more nerfs and so do shotguns and all special weapons. Special weapons as a whole are just too easy to use with how powerful. People should be complaining that they’re too hard to use. If we have special weapons in a state where they are the most powerful option but also the most difficult option than they would be balanced but right now they are just too strong which is why I have more recently started to hate myself for complaining in y1 because y1 was better, by a lot.

No, they turned 120’s into sniper scout hybrid... so much more oppressive than shotguns. Why use a sniper when a 120 can two tap from the same range in the right circumstances... Seeing nothing but HC in crucible is so so so stale. The love affair with HC in the game is annoying. Autos were viable for a season and people lost their crap... and HC were still viable during that time. Pulses are outranged by HC in a lot of circumstance. Scouts are near useless. I’ll play iron banner for pinnacles and weekly crucibles for triumphs and pinnacle but other than that it’s avoided.

7 RepliesMan, did you come to the wrong game. Bungie has been obsessed with shotguns and hand cannons since the early days of D1. The only time this wasn't the case, was D2 vanilla. Shotguns were irrelevant for many months. Guess what, nobody liked it.

15 RepliesAs far as I am concerned nobody gets to cry about anything pvp related unless they acknowledge the very obvious fact that shotguns are the worst offender. They have been in the meta since the first ever meta is d1. Yet everyone cried about stasis or hand cannons or auto rifles like blind lemmings.
