Let's take a moment here to appreciate just how intricate that mission was. It felt ripped straight out of Dead Space in the best way.

Definitely 👍 a breath of fresh air and detailed with an excellent story 👌 for a secret mission and to top it off the exotic looks and feels exotic. Moments like this are why destiny has so much potential.

Reminded me of Firedly or Expanse scavenging a derelict ship. Then I saw the guardian at the end and I was like yep - protomolecule

19 RepliesEdited by EARWAK3R: 2/17/2021 6:25:00 PMIts just shooting adds in tunnels, and using a reskinned version of the flower buff mechanic from leviathan. Honestly, the hyperbole some of you use for basic gameplay is a little over the top

Soloed it thought was cool looking and all but kinda irratating and boss was stupid easy with anarchy
-
20 RepliesStill has absolutely nothing on the whisper mission and the outbreak mission. Those were so much more fleshed out.
-
I thought it was pretty fun, really liked the horror vibes from it, despite Destiny not being a horror game. I really hope Bungie creates more of those types of missions; maybe even some you can only do alone. Is there a triumph for doing it solo flawless? Might be fun to master it.

4 RepliesEdited by Reportmebr0: 2/17/2021 9:14:27 PMYou're telling me I should log in and experience this. Is this a significant story told or just another run of the mill shoot this, scan that? Asking for a friend. Edit: it's cool that you liked it, I'm not trolling. I've simply trained myself not to expect much more from this game than a few hours to waste.

It gave me vibes from The 343 Guilty Spark Mission from Halo 1, where you first encounter the flood, at least for your first run blind
-
5 RepliesThis quest has a big negative, imo: one should never get a gun with an empty perk. It's completely stupid to use a perk slot as an informative panel.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

1 ReplyTrash shoot vibes from star wars lol

Edited by KayOsS882: 2/18/2021 4:18:11 AMThe only complaints I have with the quest is that the ship is infested with Scorns. I was hoping for a new enemy to fight. Because once you enter the ship, you can hear this frightening growl. But at the end, it was just a bunch of scorn.
-
You are celebrating fighting the same exact enemies from years ago? Such low standards.

2 RepliesBidi You make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

12 RepliesWell can't state this as a fact, but this mission is definitely a refrence to Halo CE. Here's the evidence. Alien ship infested with a organic matter that's spreading. Hangar area that's straight out of the covenant cruisers truth and reconsiation... The ship that would later house the flood. The guardian we were there to rescue is merged with this biomatter on the bridge, connected to the controls... If these just coincidences. Shoot me.

3 RepliesDude the -blam!-ing flowers were hela creepy

4 RepliesGet rid of stasis in pvp, do it!

5 RepliesEdited by Colt_45_818: 2/18/2021 4:32:54 PMLove the mission but hated running it because I had 2 real A-holes from lfg who ruined the whole expirence. Haven't had a jerk from lfg in a long time.

2 RepliesEdited by Olórin: 2/17/2021 3:53:44 PMIt most certainly is a very nice mission and pretty immersive, likd going through those vents hearing those noises for the first time i felt like i was in Dead Space for a second. Never thought the Scorn could be so scary. And then the last boss happened, inside such a confined boss room, with a boss that mostly uses knock back/push attacks all i saw was 'Killed by Architects' Other than that it was very enjoyable.
Also, Rubbish Compactor part, had me shitting myself, like, oh god it reminded me so much of the Star Wars Episode IV - Death Star Scene// SAW V - Glass Coffin scene.
5 RepliesWe have yet to finish it for those that have seen the out of bounds we all know what lurks
-
5 RepliesYes it was great. Some good mechanics too, but not too mechanic heavy like the DSC is.
-
1 ReplyI got more of a flood vibe from it, which is what I enjoyed most about it. Especially since it was the flood that got me into Halo in the first place.
-
Credit where credit is due, I enjoyed the mission 😉

30 RepliesIt was great, I think it's a bit too difficult for solo players though.
