Mantle Exotic Drop Error From K1 Crew Quarters
Completed K1 Crew Quarters over 30 Times at 1300 on Warlock on Feb 15 when it was highlighted
Finally Phoenix Protocol Dropped, Not Mantle of battle Harmony
On Collections Screen under recently discovered is an empty box in one slot, light gray outline with dark dray center
No sign of mantle in my collections or exotics

Yea, I learned, in addition to wonderful RNG, it's not a guaranteed first exotic drop. Also, that blocked out new item in collections eventually appeared as something else. Got Mantle on a run on a different lost sector. Thanks.

Took me like 15 runs for the Mantle to drop, not a single one beforehand. Switched to the Titan after, got the Thundercrash chest piece first run. Isn't RNG fun?

Unfortunately you are not guaranteed to get the new exotic as your first exotic drop. Last season I got an older exotic drop first on runs for the warlock helmet & Titan arms before I got the new ones.
