Crashed Season Opening removed Battlegrounds - 2 characters. HELP NEEDED
After the very first Season 13 Opening cutscene, it flashed matchmaking but then immediately crashed with an error and returned me out.
How do I start the opening activity now?
Logging back in did not start the activity.
There no quest step.
And in Vanguard playlists there is no display at all of ANY Battlegrounds - in the space where it should be - or any other launch prompt anywhere else I can see.
I own BL and all previous DLCs but currently not this Season's Pass.
I should be doing the initial activity which also sets up the other initial steps.
Any help or escalation to known issues would be VERY appreciated.
EDIT:
THIS EXACT SAME ISSUE HAS NOW HAPPENED ON MY SECOND CHARACTER - MEANING TWO CHARACTERS ARE LOCKED OUT FROM SEASONAL PROGRESSION. I have had no Battlegrounds and have no Battlegrounds menu visible.

1 ReplyEdited by ADragonWithin: 2/16/2021 1:13:05 PMThe first Battlegrounds you encounter that is auto-initiated after the intro is the one on the Nessus map. Play that battlegrounds node if you had an issue playing it the first time. The Playlist for Battlegrounds that shows up in Vanguard is unlocked much later in the questline after having done the quests for the one on Nessus and then the one on Europa. It's intended that you not see the Vanguard Battlegrounds Playlist at the point you're at.

This happened to my friend. I invited him to a fire team and took him to battleground bohemeth on the map and it forced his season to start. From then on I could take him to the HELM and he had the challengers proving quest and then got the hammer.
