B button on controller Double Click - stasis breakout
Anyone else unable to break stasis on B double click? Control delay changed and still no good.

when I’m using top tier dawnblade and I get frozen in the air I can’t break off until I touch the ground.. guessing it’s a bind issue with icarus dash.

Sometimes I double tap, sometime i hold, sometimes I do both, but most of the time I just kiss my butt goodbye.

2 RepliesWas holding it down out of habit, then saw the on screen instructions. Its all pointless though, escaping stasis is about 99% not gonna happen.

I wonder if you have to tap slow or fast because I still pop my barricade when tapping. Maybe it should be tied to Hold X on Xbox since it’s just reload.

Believe it’s a balancing act Warlocks have 1 second stasis freeze, Titans and Hunters have up to five seconds to compensate for Warlocks other stasis abilities.

Yeah double pressing seems working worse than before with holding the button.

1 ReplyLooks like hunters and Titans have up to 5 seconds on stasis freeze, Warlocks have 1 second. Seems to be balance of abilities to offset the major benefits in being a Warlock using stasis abilities.?......?? That’s the general feedback

4 RepliesI hate that every class has a different way to break free. You have to double-click for hunters, hold for titans and I'm not sure about warlocks. I almost always play with my hunter so when I play with my titan, I just don't remember that now I need to hold instead of double-click. I hate it.

You can only break out "early" if you double-tap when there 4-5 seconds left. It won't do anything if you try when there's 0-3 seconds left since you'd be free by the time it's performed.

Control delay changed and still no good.[/quote] Something to mention here, you can select the speed of the double press delay to make it so the time between double pressing is shorter so it's more consistent. However, there's a hidden caveat to the breakout mechanic- it only works when your player is on the ground. If for instance you get frozen mid jump you have to be on the ground to initiate the breakout.

Does it really matter? How often do you get frozen and live? I feel like being frozen is a death sentence and breaking out is just a fantasy
