Seasonal Content on 2nd+ Character Bug
Tried starting the season of the chosen content on a second character. After completion of the first battleground, I was not given a waypoint or objective to visit the HELM. When I [i]did[/i] visit the HELM, I was able to pick up the quest "Decrypting the Darkness" before speaking to Zavala on the holo. This created a bug where I cannot continue either quest, as I am locked out of the prismatic focuser.
I encountered this bug on console (Xbox). Restarting the game or leaving the HELM does not fix the problem.

All I got for the 2nd character was the conversation between Zavala and Caiatl. Then a pop up states " I do not possess the correct content to continue this quest". Not using my 3rd character until its fixed or the season ends making the whole thing moot. Because of autosave, there is NO going back, unless the Devs make it so.

Once you have the engram you can decrypt it without focusing to progress the step

Same here! Got an Umbral from Season carrousel, but still did not work.

1 ReplyI have the same problem. I started the quest on my warlock but im stuck at step 2 of decrypting the darkness. I got the prismatic lens from the machine but no the umbral engram. Idk what to do now. On my first character i did not have any problem
