I’ll explain. There’s no change in dialogue at all from D1. House Devils is mentioned despite not existing anymore and stuff. Also, I thought all returning content was gonna have a modem coat of paint? (See Navota and Omnigul strike)
Like, I love Destiny 2 and stuff, but come on :/

but adding mini servitors to the mechanics are great and how many times you went on the pirates of the Caribbean ride and noticed subtle changes to the story but still was the same ride.

No, what's happening is as I have predicted solely by myself, that WE are a Perfect Paradox, where we die in the future and are sent back in time to be revived in the Cosmodrome so we can die in the future. We have no origin, we simply exist and that's why we were able to create the Perfect Paradox in the first place. Why we were the only one to activate such an event despite Osiris searching and failing to find any trace of Saint. What you're seeing is simply D1's strike as it took place during that time.

Edited by Grays_KS27: 2/13/2021 5:13:58 PMAh, you haven’t uncovered the secret plot. You, see, in D1 this strike had a miniboss named Naksis who was a Devil Baron but wore the wrong colors, and we killed him. But death was only a setback for Naksis. Throughout D2 we have had many incidents involving Fallen skins. All these Fallen wearing the wrong colors have restored Naksis. Finally he was ready and brought himself back from the dead, along with an army of fellow Devils now wearing Dusk colors and Sepiks with its old skin that’s also inaccurate. They can no longer be stopped. They have generated so much wrong-skin energy that every time someone runs the strike it just makes them more powerful. We are doomed.

This turns out is because they want to focus more on Yr4 content than bringing the Cosmodrome to par with its D1 counterpart. I’m not trying to make up excuses or defend Bungie, because I for one would love to see some changes and new reason for the strikes, but this is the reality of why it is the case.
