Warlock has no Stasis Exotic and no way to shatter.
The new fragments should have focused on giving the Darkness classes what each was missing. Titans now have a way to freeze outside of their super and grenade and Hunters now have a support option.
Warlocks have no way to shatter outside of Winters Wrath.
Also, Bleak Watcher is GARBAGE. This is not what Warlocks needed. This should've been an exotic armor ability if anything.
It takes way too long to freeze enemies, does pitiful damage, and the charge time coupled with how long it takes for it to start firing at enemies is counterproductive.
You would literally be better off throwing Coldsnap Grenade which instantly freezes and can easily set off Dark flare bolts and Fissures. There is no reason to use this. Not even in PvP where it's easily destroyed and dodged.
What you should have done is gave Shadebinder a single charge of a mid air teleport that works like the Nova Warp one, and you can teleport dash into frozen targets to shatter them.
This would give Winters Wrath some degree of mobility too so it can get out of trouble.
The lengths you guys are going to utterly shit on an entire class and not put any effort into it makes me question why you made Warlocks in the first place. There is no enthusiasm toward the class anymore. No consideration.
You should split all Warlock supers up and give them to Hunters and Titans and have Warlocks become full time Guardian mentors that do not leave the city and occasionally share a useful ability worth using.

2 RepliesEdited by StarStarFruiT: 2/11/2021 3:55:33 AMWould also like to point out, they’ve stealth nerfed freezing again, with the damage requirement to trigger a shatter on a guardian increasing from 100 to 200 (that’s an additional 100%) You now have to deal 200 damage in 1.2 seconds, not happening in anything more then a 1v1 scenario, and even that’s a push.

12 RepliesNot only is this another turret, but with the latest Stasis changes, Warlocks have become simply unplayable. After reading about the changes in grenades, in their recovery, as well as reducing damage to frozen enemies, I understand that my builds now simply do not work, no matter how I combine fragments and exotics. The Stasis Warlock is dead, it's just useless right now.

6 RepliesIt just got worse and the rich get richer................ Wisper of Chains fragment give you a +10 recovery (cool) and....wait for it.........a 32% buff to damage resistance if you stand near (15'ish) meters next to a glacier nade. Hunter shatter strike being sill OP after the nerf, and to a lesser extent Titans shattering a glacier nade, now can do it with damage resistance. Warlocks counter to this was to throw a nade into a glacier nade wall and wait for said hunter to shatter it and watch him die. Not any more with Wisper of Chains. Hunters and Titans can blow crystals up all day now and get a damage resistance buff as well while Warlocks can sit back and do..........ummmm, nothing.

14 RepliesWhat supers needs a buff or exotic in terms of warlocks: - Nova Warp -Nova Bomb - Shadebinder -Bottom tree dawn - top tree storm caller (landfall) Most of them need buffs or exotics, it would be nice to see all the classes balanced for once and not one or two that are competitive viable.

3 RepliesUse the fragment that increases weapon damage on freeze. Frozen enemies are almost always one-shot, and frozen majors+ still cause a shatter without dying. The passive seekers do the rest. Warlock stasis is about precision.

5 RepliesThe new aspect is actually a boss dps beast as it can continually proc Hedrons. I actually think warlocks will get a way to shatter at some point but in the meantime have the most slots for fragments and can thus utilise more unique and diverse builds. In the case with the exotic, yes, you haven’t yet received a stasis specific one but you may have received the first ‘decay’ one with Necrotic. This is arguably the most unique exotic armour due to its synergy with an exotic weapon. Your time for a stasis exotic and shatter will come but you’ve certainly not been short handed in the meantime.
