Ticuu's Divination Catalyst IMPOSSIBLE to complete

After much annoyance, I completed the PVP requirements for the catalyst thanks to the bonus multiplier granted after level 22. I guess this is Bungie's way of throttling of acquiring the catalyst quickly until you progress further leveling. The biggest complaint I have about most catalysts is that you have to kill like a thousand enemies to unlock, and by then, you really don't want to use the weapon ever again. :)

Thanks BUNGO! I've been waiting for a new bow for some time, and the T-D is nice PVE-centric bow. But you tied the catalyst with FIFTY guardian kills using the bow. Given I play controller on PC, I'm never going to be able to finish this. By the time I get a bead on any opponent in the crucible with the bow I'm with FING FROZEN, or simply killed by a shotgun ape or a handgun. NOBODY USES BOWS IN THE CRUCIBLE for a reason! It's STASIS, SHOTGUNS, STASIS, SHOTGUNS, HAND CANNON.

Dude, trust me! I am literally the worst PVP player in the world. But today a miracle happened! I thought I'd try Elimination because I had a bounty for it. Because of the mechanics of the game mode, most teams tend to "huddle up" which is great for kills with the exotic perk of the bow! Hipfire to base attack, aim fire for heavy explosive damag! I got it done in maybe about 10 matches! YOU GOT THIS BRO 👍👍👍

2 RepliesIt does suck that Bungie still insists we play PvP in a co-op looter shooter, though the kills do not need to be with the bow, or any weapon for that matter. I managed to get the 50 Guardian kills in Mayhem. Almost all of the kills were with my super. I'm not sure whether or not the bow needs to be equipped.

Edited by Protocol_11359: 2/10/2021 9:50:32 PMThe bow itself may not be good for pvp, I prefer point of the stag, use a higher mobility and peek shoot, if you play hunter use the air a lot, it works out well though it may take a little time to get used to If the bow does have to be used, then, this stuff still applies but my experience mostly comes from point of the stag

Gambit kills count I’m sitting at 18 kills after my 3 gambit matches didn’t set foot into crucible hopefully this helps a bit 👍

3 RepliesCan I tell you a secret to the bow that really helps out with it? You don’t have to hold down the charge for the track arrows. Just fire and they shoot straight and target really good.. saves time for the follow up one shot kill. I did it in I believe 2-3 matches. I’m on the final part of the catalyst step of calibration and I’m done. It’s pretty easy

You need to play passively and learn how to peek-shoot. It isn’t impossible. You just need how to play pvp with a bow.
